Two channels on Telegram that cover Palestinian detainees and prisoners as far as I know, one is the Commission of Detainee Affairs (main language: Arabic, Instagram page) and another is RNN Prisoners (main language: English). Both are receiving info from the family, colleagues, and even from the ex-prisoners themselves.
May Allah give them strength in this challenging time and surely, Palestine will be free from all occupations and colonializations by whoever, back to the era before Zionism existed, when all ethnicities, races, and religions could live in peace and harmony for centuries.
Below are posts from both channels, as they can be shared with the world for the sake of humanity and Palestine's freedom and sovereignty.
- Brief on detention campaigns carried out in the West Bank since the beginning of the genocide.
- Excluding arrest cases in Gaza.
August 12, 2024
The total number of arrests stands at (10.000) in the West Bank and Jerusalem.
Women:
The total number of women arrests stands at 345 including women arrested from the lands occupied in 1948, in addition to Gazan women who have been arrested in the West Bank.
Children:
The number of children arrests stands at 700.
Journalists:
94 journalists have been arrested, 53 of them are still under arrest, including 5 female journalists and 16 journalists from Gaza, in addition to 17 journalists under administrative detention.
More than 8322 orders of administrative detention have been issued since October 7, ranging between new orders and renewals, including orders against children and women.
Detention campaigns carried out since October 7 are accompanied by escalated crimes and violations such as humiliation, brutal beat, and threats against detainees and their families, vandalism and destruction in detainees’ houses, confiscating vehicles, gold, and money, in addition to the destruction of infrastructure especially in the refugee camps of Tulkarem and Jenin.
Statistics include detainees who were arrested from their houses, at checkpoints, who surrendered themselves, and those who were arrested as hostages.
Besides detention campaigns, the Israeli forces implemented field executions, afflicted detainees and their family members.
22 detainees martyred in Israeli prisons and military camps since the 7th of October, in addition to tens of martyrs from Gaza who died in Israeli prisons and detention centers, whom the occupation has not announced their names or martyrdom conditions. Moreover, they acknowledged the execution of many detainees.
It is said that the corpses of 20 detainees who were martyred after October 7 are still withheld, among 31 martyrs.
Data does not include detention cases in Gaza, due to the occupation’s refusal to give any information and the continuation of practicing the crime of enforced disappearance against them. It is worth mentioning that the occupation forces arrested about 4000 citizens from Gaza, in addition to hundreds of Gazans who have been arrested in the West Bank.
The total number of detainees held in Israeli prisons stands at 9900, including 3432 administrative detainees, in addition to 1584 detainees who have been classified as illegal fighters.
83 female detainees are held in Damoun prison, including a pregnant detainee (Jehad Nakhleh) in addition to 20 administrative detainees.
250 Children are currently held in isolation prisons
Note:
Data on detention campaigns is variable daily due to the continuous arrests.

The occupation armed group blew up the homes of the prisoners Dr. Ayser Al-Barghouti and Dr. Khaled Al-Kharouf at dawn today in the city of Ramallah (August 13, 2024).
They are both imprisoned under the pretext of carrying out the Wadi Al-Haramiyeh operation in January.
Israel's armed group rap*d a Palestinian prisoner in the Sde Teman concentration camp until he was hospitalized with a torn rectum, damaged lungs, and broken ribs. The video was then broadcast on Israel public television and the victim was quietly returned to "Sde Teman."
The prisoner had been kidnapped last March from the Jabalia refugee camp. In the video, the soldiers are seen picking him out of more than 30 others on the ground, taking him to a corner, covering up prison cameras with their shields, and inserting a foreign object into the rectum of the detainee. He was hospitalized hours later.
This case made an uproar only because, this time, it was recorded.
A few weeks ago, lawyer Khaled Mahajneh, reported testimonies about the torture and rape of prisoners from the Gaza Strip in IOF prisons and concentration camps.
The testimonies included rape and starvation, including one detainee who was completely stripped of his clothes, and a fire extinguisher was discharged into his rectum.
Another detainee had his genitals electroshocked, in addition to other difficult-to-describe methods used to sexually assault the detainees. These are a few in a sea of many undocumented cases. They are stories that were able to bypass the bars of the prison.
While the world believed all the lies and accusations fabricated by the occupation, which accused resistance fighters of rap*ng settlers on October 7th with no evidence, it actively chose to ignore real testimonies, indisputable cases, and filmed footage of Palestinians being rap*d. While most international news outlets retracted their lies and accusations towards the resistance, Israeli officials debate that it is permissible for them to rap* Palestinians, in front of the cameras of the whole world to see.
In the zionist state, protests erupted so that Nazi sadistic settlers could ensure that their soldiers are allowed to rap* Palestinian detainees.
Palestinian poet, thinker, teacher, and martyr Refaat Al-Areer once said about the occupation: "Every accusation is a confession."
From beh*aded babies to rap*, we see the truth; we see these accusations effectively practiced against our people, our children, mothers, and fathers."
Female prisoners are facing catastrophic conditions in "Damon" Prison, where 94 female prisoners are held, following the appointment of a new zionist prison director.
Female prisoners conveyed this information to the Prisoners' Commission lawyer:
Their abayas, hijabs, and niqabs were replaced with a "gray tracksuit" without a hijab, and they were subjected to random strip searches daily at dawn. They are detained for hours in the "yard." In the yard, or when going to the clinic or lawyer visits, the prisoners are forced to borrow shoes from each other.
Their simple belongings, such as empty plastic containers used as cups, threads, and needles used to repair torn clothes, were confiscated. The very last needle they owned was also confiscated.
The female prisoners are also experiencing a shortage of cleaning supplies and blankets as winter approaches. Each has only one set of "summer clothes.
Two weeks ago, the Damon prison administration deliberately installed light switches outside the prisoners’ cells and canceled the internal switches, allowing the guards to control the lighting times at their discretion.
Further, the Commission reported that the prison's starvation policy has led to hormonal changes and side effects among the prisoners.

Suhada Tariq Ziad Dawoud, the Al-Qassam fighter and liberated prisoner, has ascended to martyrdom by Israel's armed group after carrying out a freedom operation in Qalqilya that seriously wounded an illegal settler who entered the city.
Tariq was among the 240 child and women prisoners freed in the resistance's prisoner exchange deal in November 2023. Since then, he has been wanted and relentlessly pursued the occupation, but this did not deter him from the path of resistance.
Implementing collective punishment, the terror group of Israel invaded his family's home over 20 times this summer, abducting his family members over and over, including his mother, Dunia over 10 times. It is said that Tariq carried out a shooting operation which eventually every time his family was abused by Israel.
Tariq emerged from the prisons of oppression defiantly and determined to continue on the path of liberation, leaving us today as he was received: celebrated, steadfast, and resistant.
Rest in peace my brother, you're the defender of your land, Jannatul Firdaus awaits you.
Occupation armed group abducted a Palestinian at Al-Asbat Gate, one of the gates of Al-Aqsa Mosque, after severely assaulting him.
Palestinian student Malak Ziad Al-Amer was abducted by terrorist Israel at the illegal occupation checkpoint of “Doutan”, southwest of the occupied Palestinian city of Jenin, on Wednesday, 25 September 2024, only an hour after her family home was demolished in Jenin refugee camp.
Malak is the sister of Nidal Ziad Al-Amer, who was assassinated by occupation forces on 3 July 2024. Occupation forces, disguised in a civilian car with a Palestinian license plate, invaded Jenin’s industrial area and assassinated Nidal, shooting him dead.
Nidal, 23, was a leader in the Jenin refugee camp at the time of his assassination, following in the footsteps of his and Malak’s father, Ziad Al-Amer, who was one of the leaders of the Jenin battle of 2002. Nidal was pursued by the occupation, deeply involved in the resistance in Jenin, battling the occupying forces invading the camp and city and targeting their “Nimer” armored personnel carrier with explosives.
Nidal was also a former prisoner, who was abducted by the occupation on at least three occasions, including in 2022 and 2018. The demolition of his and Malak’s family home today is part and parcel of the policy of collective punishment and targeting of the families of the martyrs, prisoners, and resistance fighters pursued by the occupation.
Ziad Al-Amer, Malak and Nidal’s father was a renowned leader of the struggle in Jenin, one of the four commanders of the Palestinian resistance to the occupation forces in 2002 as a leader of Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades. Martyred in the battle of Jenin, Ziad Al-Amer was a close comrade of Zakaria Al-Zubaidi, today imprisoned as one of the heroes of the Freedom Tunnel Gilboa prison escape of 2021.
The Al-Amer family are refugees from Al-Mansi, near Haifa, and were forced from their homes and lands by the Zionist occupation in the 1947-1948 Nakba. They have been denied their right to return to their homes since that time, and have unremittingly struggled for the liberation of Palestine’s land and people.
Malak and Nidal’s cousins, Ayham and Ayser Al-Amer, were also both martyred in the struggle against the occupation. Both resistance fighters defending Jenin and struggling for the liberation of Palestine, Ayser was martyred on 26 October 2023 and Ayham only two weeks later, on 9 November 2023. Their brother, also named Ziad, is currently imprisoned by the occupation.
Both Ayser, a founder of the Jenin Brigades, and Ayham, were liberated Palestinian prisoners. Ayser spent 5 years in occupation prisons and was last released only months before his martyrdom. Ayham spent 7 years behind Zionist bars and was also detained and tortured by the Palestinian Authority under “security coordination” with the Zionist regime before he escaped from PA detention in 2022.
The abduction of Malak Ziad Al-Amer, on the same day as the destruction of her family home, is part and parcel of the policy of collective punishment of the Al-Amer family for their steadfast commitment to the liberation of Palestine and their tremendous sacrifices to achieve that goal.
Freedom for Malak Al-Amer and all Palestinian prisoners in Zionist jails!
