The second Nakba is happening now, in Northern Gaza, thousands of civilians are murdered, and hundreds of thousands are humiliated, forced displaced, and tortured, not as human. It happens in front of our eyes, anytime and every minute. In a series of new massacres, 42 martyrs have ascended across the Gaza Strip, 37 of them in the besieged north, where thousands are forced to be displaced once again under fire.
Today (Oct 23, 2024), the 19th day of siege begins, and the IOF intensifies its bombing and siege of hospitals, shelters, and schools in the north in an attempt to force the displacement of the steadfast residents.
Yesterday, the IOF declared some shelters "combat zones" and forced the residents to go to the Indonesian Hospital, which they bombed a day prior.
Under threat of fire, they have besieged the Khalifa School, housing the displaced. A few days ago, the displaced in Jabalia School were shot at and massacred by tanks because they didn't gather their belongings in less than 15 minutes.
Today, the field executions and massacres continue, largely concentrated in the north:
The genocidal IOF began the new day by killing two young girls and their mother in the Halawa family home in Jabalia, northern #Gaza Strip (Media 1-2). At 1:00 AM, four martyrs and several injuries were reported as tanks shelled Zaid bin Haritha School in Beit Lahia.
Shelling continued in Jabalia for hours, and the IOF mercilessly targeted Gazans with drones (Media 5). Kamal Adwan Hospital is filled with martyrs and wounded and is nearly non-functional; the hospitals are completely besieged and destruction surrounds them. Kamal Adwan Hospital currently houses 150 injured in critical condition. Drones fired directly at Al-Awda Hospital, exacerbating the situation.
In Beit Lahia, the IOF detonated a booby-trapped robot near a school housing displaced people, while artillery shelling continued to target Jabalia Al-Nazla, south of Gaza City, and Beit Lahia areas. Gunfire also targeted northwest of Nusseirat in the central #Gaza Strip.
At dawn, two martyrs and three wounded were recovered from the Masoud building in Beit Lahia, and Civil Defense crews were forced to stop their work after the IOF directly opened fire on them, leaving several people under the rubble. Civil Defense returned several hours later and recovered the child Ghazal Masoud (Media 2 in Part 2), who succumbed to her wounds and was martyred. Moments ago, too, several Civil Defense workers were wounded by an IOF drone.
Two more martyrs (brothers Mohammed and Bilal Abu Atawi) ascended as a result of the IOF bombing a car in Deir Al-Balah, central Gaza Strip. Additionally, 4 martyrs and several wounded were reported (including municipal workers) as a result of artillery shelling targeting people east of Al-Tuffah in the east of Gaza City.
4 civilians were killed and several wounded by terrorist Israel attacks on the Maghazi Services Club. This comes shortly after the massacre in Nuseirat Camp that targeted the Al-Shuhada (Martyrs') school and killed at least 17 Palestinians.

- As the Israeli aggression continues and intensifies in its brutality against our defenseless people in North Gaza, yesterday our Civil Defense teams in the Beit Lahiya project area were directly targeted as part of an Israeli plan to empty the northern areas of residents and prevent any entity from providing humanitarian or medical services.
- Yesterday evening, we were surprised by the presence of Israeli drone "quadcopters" hovering over the area where the Civil Defense and medical service teams were stationed in Beit Lahiya project. They were ordered, via loudspeakers, to immediately leave their vehicles and head to the Indonesian Hospital, where the Israeli army is stationed and only allows passage through inspection and screening.
- As the teams were attempting to evacuate the area, an Israeli drone fired a missile directly at them, injuring three of our members. In addition, the only fire truck providing firefighting services in the northern areas was targeted by artillery shells, leading to its destruction and setting it on fire.
- Under the threat of continued attacks, our teams were forced to evacuate the area and head towards the Indonesian Hospital, where they were subjected to searches and mistreatment by the Israeli army. Five of our personnel were arrested and taken to an unknown location.
- As a result, we declare that Civil Defense operations in the northern Gaza Strip have been completely halted, leaving these areas without any firefighting, rescue, or emergency medical services. This endangers the lives of thousands of families still residing in their homes in Jabalia, Al-Nazla, Jabalia refugee camp, Beit Lahiya, and Beit Hanoun, despite the occupation's attempts to forcibly empty the shelters.
- In light of this systematic escalation against our teams and medical personnel, we declare that thousands of families in North Gaza are now without Civil Defense services, and we warn that their lives are in great danger.

We call on the international community and humanitarian organizations to pressure the Israeli occupation to allow the resumption of Civil Defense and medical services in the northern governorate.
- We demand the immediate intervention of the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) and the International Committee of the Red Cross to secure the release of our personnel arrested by the Israeli occupation and to provide protection for our teams.
- We warn that the failure to intervene urgently and put an end to the Israeli occupation's actions will enable it to continue its systematic policy of disrupting humanitarian and medical services in other areas of the Gaza Strip, to force our people to flee and confine them in specific areas under dire humanitarian conditions.

10 martyrs and 30 wounded were reported in a preliminary toll as a result of IOF tanks targeting a UNRWA shelter at Jabalia Preparatory School in Jabalia camp, northern Gaza Strip near Birkat Abu Rashid.

Asmaa School Massacre
Among the eight martyrs, three journalists and a child ascended to martyrdom in the Asmaa School massacre today (Oct 27, 2024), where displaced people were staying. Just a week ago, seven martyrs ascended in the same school.
Saed Radwan, the Director of the Digital Media Department at Al-Aqsa TV, ascended to martyrdom as a result of the IOF's bombing in the Asmaa School massacre.

As civilians in the North of Gaza flee from one dangerous area to another, they are being targeted by warplanes, reconnaissance drones, artillery, and quadcopters firing at them.
The situation in northern Gaza is catastrophic. Out of the original 150,000 displaced people, only 10,000 or fewer were displaced to Gaza City and the south.
Kamal Adwan Hospital, the only functional hospital in the North, is operating at minimal capacity and is overwhelmed by the number of injuries from Jabalia and the surrounding areas.
Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya, director of Kamal Adwan Hospital, reports that the hospital was suddenly besieged by Israeli tanks and bulldozers, with announcements over loudspeakers demanding that everyone leave the building.
The attack caused severe damage, especially in the ICU. Inside the hospital, over 160 injured people remain, with 5 newborns in incubators and multiple children on ventilators.
Despite expecting medical supplies and blood from the World Health Organization, Israeli forces surrounded the hospital instead, preventing ambulances from leaving and causing panic among the children. The situation is dire, with lives at risk if aid does not arrive soon.

Day 24 of the siege on the northern Gaza Strip. Over 1,000 Palestinians have been martyred in the north.
Today, over 22 martyrs have ascended since morning, 13 of them in the north, including children.
The terror group of Israel announced the end of its raid on Kamal Adwan Hospital in Beit Lahia and the withdrawal of a brigade from Jabalia (two other brigades still remain).
They claim that 50,000 Palestinians were displaced from Jabalia and that 600 were abducted. Over 100,000 citizens insist on staying despite the renewed bombardment, after a year of continuous steadfastness.
